The Problem with John

For my final major project, I created a campaign entitled 'The Problem with John', tackling gender inequality in the UK by providing resources for men on the extent of inequality. The title was inspired by the statistic that there are more statues of men called John in the UK than of women in total. John is a metaphorical representation of a generation of men indifferent to women's equality yet holding the power to enact real change. My main deliverable was a newspaper created in the style of a Metro to trick people into unwittingly reading the paper. A newspaper covers all sections of society, much like how gender inequality does too, hence I chose the format.
